This community is dedicated to crossover slash fic featuring characters from the film Pirates of the Caribbean (property of Disney Corp) and the novel Quicksilver, by Neal Stephenson. No assertions are made about anything: we've borrowed the characters and we're playing with them and their settings.

Stories may contain any or all of:
- SPOILERS for the book (or the movie, if you are one of the six people who has not seen it)
- NC17-rated M/M sex scenes
- gratuitous convolutions of grammar
- Imps in Several Forms

Because this is a very particular vice, membership is moderated.

FICS: an Introduction
There is so very much here, and not all of it clearly labelled, that the uninitiated may flee in Confusion. A quick guide, then ...

* The Devastation of Southwark, 1683 - the first Pirates/Quicksilver crossover fic by Gloria (proof of concept). AU, takes place before the start of Quicksilver, post-Dunkirk.

* Picaresque - Tess's first series, in 12 parts. AU, takes place before the start of Quicksilver, pre-Dunkirk.

* Trochal - sequel to Picaresque, in 14 parts. AU, but contains spoilers for Quicksilver and The Confusion.

* Malabar Trade - sequel to Picaresque and Trochal. AU, but contains spoilers for Quicksilver and The Confusion.

* Navigational Errors - Gloria's first series, in 17 parts. AU, takes place before the start of Quicksilver, pre-Dunkirk.

* Mortal Hazards - sequel to Navigational Errors, in 12 parts. AU, carries straight on from it.

OMG what are we going to do??

There are a number of 1200-word sentences by Gloria, all set in the same universe as, and after the events of, The Devastation of Southwark 1683 (though some of the early ones and some of the later ones contradict one another). Some have appeared in pairs; lately, some are being labelled as a sub-series, Language Lessons.

There are also a few standalone fics, fairly clearly labelled (standalone), which fit between the major series. And there are other fics which may or may not fit into major series-verses, but feature OMCs.

Yes, we really should be doing something more worthwhile.
